Posted By: denhoward on 09/07/eleven 05:57pm I have a 2007 Vacation Rambler Endeavour with a electrical power string reeler. The motor runs when I turn on the switch simply the reeler doesn't turn. I am a little concerned about taking it apart since I am a novice when it comes to repairs. Has anyone experienced this problem and repaired the reeler themselves. I am assuming the reeler is not engaging the gears to make information technology turn?

We too have an electrical cord reeler. Since I'yard getting senile, I can't remember merely what the brand is but, in that location'due south a couple of things on mine, and perchance on yours too, that could exist your problem. I've never had the demand to take mine apart but I have found it prudent to have the cord out of the bottom hole and and so with a wet rag, I "aid" the cord back into the reel while cleaning off any debris as it feeds back into it....hope this helps....Dennis

Posted By: tkcas01 on 10/20/11 10:35am I'1000 having trouble with mine on a 2004 Diplomat. I emailed Monaco support and they told me I have a TDI Reel. Contacted the company and they said there were no replacement parts and offered no troubleshooting assist. This model seems to be riveted together, suggested information technology was non intended to be disassembled/reassembled.

I wish it was as simple equally a clutch lever or something, just it sounded like gears shredded to me. The Glendinning unit seems similar a amend pattern, mostly due to the cable guide, so if I have to supervene upon I think I will go that route if it will fit...
